The Gasmaterotisserie counter weightclips onto your spit rod to balance out the weight of meat that's mounted a little off-centre, taking the strain off your motor and keeping the cook turning smoothly from start to finish. It fits most rotisseries with a shaft diameter up to 10mm, making it a simple, worthwhile addition to any home spit setup.
It's ideal for anyone running a home spit rotisserie who wants to protect their motor and get a more even cook every time.
Meat is rarely mounted perfectly centred on the spit, and that uneven weight sends vibration through the rod and into the motor every time it turns. Over a long cook, that extra strain adds up. A counter weight offsets the load on the opposite side of the rod, so the motor turns the meat evenly instead of fighting against it.

What size rotisserie rod does this fit?
It suits most rotisserie rods up to 10mm in shaft diameter, secured in place with the built-in thumb screws.
Why do I need a counter weight on my rotisserie?
Meat rarely sits perfectly centred on the spit, and that uneven weight puts extra strain on the motor. A counter weight balances things out for a smoother turn and a more even cook.
How do I fit it?
Slide it onto the rotisserie rod on the opposite side to your meat and tighten the thumb screws to lock it in place.
Will it fit my Gasmate rotisserie?
It's designed to suit most rotisseries with a shaft diameter up to 10mm, which covers the majority of home spit setups.
Keep your rotisserie motor running smoothly and your roasts turning evenly with the Gasmate Rotisserie Counter Weight.
