How often should I reapply sunscreen?

It’s recommended you reapply sunscreen every two hours. You should also reapply after swimming, sweating or drying off with a towel as the product can rub off quicker. Where possible, combine sunscreen with other methods of sun protection, like shade, hats and clothing.

What's the difference between sunscreen and zinc?

While sunscreen is the finished sun protection product, zinc oxide is an active ingredient used in specific mineral sunscreens. Mineral sunscreens with zinc are thicker, allowing them to sit on the skin to help protect against UVA and UVB rays. Chemical sunscreens without zinc absorb into the skin to do their job.

How do I store sunscreen?

Sunscreen should be stored in a cool, dark place, kept out of direct heat or sunlight. As heat can affect the formula, avoid storing it in the car or sitting in the sun at the beach. It’s always best to check the expiry date before using, and replace if the consistency, smell or texture has changed.
