Where there’s sand, there’s fun. Give the little ones a bucket and spade and the older kids a beach ball while you lie back under your own beach umbrella. Plus, with a beach trolley, it’s easy to pack up and go whenever you feel like it. Now that’s relaxing.

What pool gear do I really need?

When you’re narrowing down what pool gear you need, think about what you often use around the water, or think would be nice to have. Consider the basics, like towels, sunscreen, goggles, pool toys and a few floaties. If you’re setting up a pool area at home, it also helps to have a pump, pool cover and a storage tub for your gear.

How do I keep pool toys clean?

To keep pool toys clean, rinse them with fresh water after each use, especially if they’ve been in chlorine, salt water or sand. Let them dry fully before packing them away to help prevent mould and mildew.

What should I pack for a beach day?

For a beach day, you’ll need essentials like beach towels, sunscreen, hats, swimmers, water bottles, snacks and a change of clothes. Extras like beach toys, goggles, a picnic rug, beach umbrella and an esky, can also make the day that little bit easier.
