Men's bike FAQs
How do I choose the right size bike?
The right-sized men’s bike should let you straddle the frame with both feet on the ground and a little space between your body and the top tube. You can also compare your height and inseam measurements to the manufacturer’s sizing guide to find your right fit if you’re ordering online.
What's the difference between a mountain bike and a road bike?
One of the main differences between a mountain bike and a road bike is which surfaces they're made for. Mountain bikes have wider tyres and solid frames with suspension systems made to give you control on rough trails, while road bikes are made for speed on smooth pavement with more lightweight frames and thin tyres.
How do I look after my bike?
Remember ABC (air, brakes and chain) for an easy way to look after your bike. Start by checking if the air in your tyres matches the PSI printed on the sidewall of your tyres, and your brake pads grip firmly when you squeeze the levers. The chain should also move smoothly when you spin the pedals backwards. Keeping your bike clean, degreasing the gears and lubricating the chain can also make sure you’re ready to ride.
