Description

Bambu Lab Silk PLA 3D Printing Filament is designed to produce eye‑catching prints with a smooth, high‑gloss finish. Made from Polylactic Acid (PLA) with a specialised silk‑effect formulation, this filament delivers vibrant colour and a reflective surface straight off the printer, reducing the need for post‑processing. Silk PLA retains the easy‑to‑print characteristics of standard PLA, including low warping, consistent extrusion and minimal odour, making it well suited for offices, classrooms, makerspaces and home environments. While primarily intended for visual appeal rather than mechanical strength, it provides reliable layer adhesion and consistent results. It is compatible with most FDM 3D printers and performs optimally with Bambu Lab printers. Supplied on a 1 kg spool, Bambu Lab Silk PLA filament is ideal for decorative objects, display models, figurines, awards, gifts and creative projects where a premium, glossy appearance is desired.
