What is Kmart Marketplace?

Kmart Marketplace is an online platform where you can buy products directly from curated sellers who fulfill the product and ship directly to you. This means you can access an extended range of products in one convenient place while you're shopping on Kmart Online.

Kmart offers the platform to enable sellers to sell products directly to you. Kmart takes payment for these products on their behalf, but sellers are responsible for the product (including product listing content, delivery and returns).

How do I know if a product on the website is sold by a Marketplace seller?

Products that show the Marketplace symbol on the bottom left of the product listing or image are sold by a Marketplace seller and not sold by Kmart.

Can I buy Marketplace products in-store?

No, you cannot purchase products from Marketplace sellers in Kmart stores.

Products sold by Marketplace sellers are delivery only and are not available for pickup from Kmart stores or any other location.

What are the delivery fees for Marketplace products?

Each Marketplace seller has individual delivery fees. Each product page shows delivery options and fees.

How can I track a marketplace order?

Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email or visit the Track Your Order page.

Will Marketplace products and Kmart products be delivered together?

No, Marketplace products are stored at the seller's fulfillment centre and delivered by the Marketplace seller directly to you.

Can I use a Kmart gift card to buy products from Marketplace sellers?

No, you cannot use your Kmart gift card online to purchase products from Marketplace sellers.

Is Layby available for Marketplace products?

Layby is not available for any online purchase including products sold by Marketplace sellers.

Can I return products purchased from marketplace sellers if I change my mind?

Yes, you can return a Marketplace product to a seller if you change your mind if it’s within 30 days of purchase, the product is in resaleable condition, unused, unworn in original packaging, and is not excluded from Marketplace change of mind returns. All products are also covered by guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

What is excluded from Marketplace change of mind returns?

Marketplace sellers won’t accept returns for cosmetics (if opened), beauty products, fragrances, hosiery and shapewear, underwear (except bras), swimwear (unless the hygiene sticker is intact), pierced jewellery, printer cartridges (if opened), personalised printed products, opened bedding, furniture and tents, trading cards, mobile phones and internet modems, headphones and earbuds (if opened), home technology (if opened), food products and event tickets. No, our team members in store will not be able to assist you with returning products purchased from Marketplace sellers.

Are shipping costs refunded?

Shipping costs are not refunded for Marketplace change of mind returns. Shipping costs will be refunded if your Marketplace product does not meet guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

I’ve received my Marketplace order and something is damaged, faulty or missing. What do I do?

Marketplace products are sold by Marketplace sellers on the Kmart website and are managed directly by the seller. If there is an issue with your order, chat with us and we will direct your enquiry to the seller.
