Traceability & transparency

Since July 2022, we have identified and published the location of 100 per cent of our processing* facilities that produce our own brand clothing, towel and bedding products. Our facilities list will be updated every six months drawing on the latest information shared by suppliers in relation to active facilities.

We know that transparency is important for building and maintaining trust in our business. Our Ethical Sourcing Transparency Policy sets out clear requirements under which our suppliers, when requested, must disclose information about their supply chain. This includes information about any tier in the supply chain, including finished goods manufacturers, processing facilities, component manufacturers, down to suppliers of raw materials.

Having up-to-date information on the locations of processing facilities is an important next step for our business, which will enable us to proactively identify human rights risks and better understand and manage our environmental impacts, such as water and energy usage, which often have the biggest impact further down the supply chain. As we do not have direct contractual relationships with processing facilities, we rely on our suppliers to share accurate and up-to-date information in accordance with our Transparency Policy.

Over coming years, our intention is to work in partnership with our suppliers to further enhance visibility of processing facilities and to strengthen environment and human rights due diligence processes.

Our Progress

As of July 2022, all processing facilities used in the production of our own brand clothing, towel and bedding ranges are published on our website. Our facilities list will be updated every six months drawing on the latest information shared by suppliers in relation to active facilities.

*We define processing facilities as spinning mills, fabric mills, laundries, dying and printing facilities.
