Description
Rattan proofing baskets or bannetons are popular in artisan baking, to give a rustic and traditional feel. The baskets are used to support and shape the dough while it rises during the fermentation process. Made from coiled rattan it gives a spiral pattern on the dough which is a popular characteristic of handmade loaves.

This plastic scraper is not flat due to the nature of the material it is made with – Food Grade ABS Plastic.It does not affect the performance of the product, as the product needs to be slightly flexible for its intended use.
