Description

The best way to maintain a high-quality edge is through regular sharpening with a whetstone. For ongoing refinement and edge maintenance, GLOBAL ceramic and diamond rods provide effective fine tuning. While some users choose to perform full edge restoration with these rods, GLOBAL recommends Minosharp whetstones for the most consistent results.
GLOBAL ceramic and diamond rods are used in a similar way to traditional honing tools and are made from extremely hard materials, making them suitable for maintaining a wide range of quality cutting tools. The diamond rod is harder and helps restore a working edge more quickly, while the ceramic rod delivers a finer finish when used regularly. The ceramic option offers a more refined result, while the diamond version is more durable and impact-resistant.
