After the supernatural events of Evil Dead II, Ash finds himself transported to a different dimension - the distant Middle Ages around 1300 AD. He is faced with the same adversary from The Evil Dead but this time, he is up against the entire army of darkness, determined to claim his soul. With no way to return, Ash must battle these demons armed with only his chainsaw and a shotgun, in a bid to save both worlds from the curse of the mystical Necronomicon.
