Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Safety Data Sheets (previously Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are documents that provide information on hazardous chemical products. An SDS is required when you use a hazardous chemical product within the workplace. They contain information on:

• Identifying the product

• Hazards - physical, health and environmental

• Safe handling and storage

• Emergency measures

• Disposal advice

• First Aid
