Is Zip available in store?

No, Zip can only be used to pay for orders placed via the website.

How do I use Zip?

1. Add items to your shopping bag and checkout.
2. At checkout, select Zip as your payment method.
3. Log in using your Zip Pay or Zip Money details or register if you are new to Zip.
4. Submit your details.
5. Your payment schedule will be emailed to you by Zip.

When do I pay for my order?

Repayments are automatically direct debited from the payment method you add when you create you account. You can change the payment method and frequency of your repayments at any time. You can choose to repay your balance on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis to suit you as long as you meet the minimum monthly repayments outlined in your contract. Choose what works for you.

Are there any costs from using Zip?

A $9.95 monthly account fee applies to Zip Pay which will be waived if you pay your statement closing balance in full, by the due date. A $9.95 monthly account fee applies to Zip Money which will be waived if you have nothing owing.

Zip Pay is interest free always*.

Zip Money offers interest free options from 3 months up to 60 months per transaction on bigger purchases. Any unpaid purchase balance at the expiry of the interest free period will be charged interest at the standard annual percentage rate, currently 25.9%.

For Zip Money a one-off establishment fee up to $99 may apply.

What happens with returns, refunds and exchanges?

Items purchased with Zip from Kmart online can be returned for an exchange or refund via your local Kmart store, subject to our Returns Policy. Please refer to our Returns Policy for more details on how to return your order and any exclusions that may apply. You can read more here https://www.kmart.com.au/returns-policy/

After we have processed a refund we update Zip automatically. Zip will adjust your payment to reflect the new total order value.

What happens if my online order is cancelled?

Unfortunately, from time to time we are not able to secure all items in your order. If this occurs, a refund will be processed and Zip will be advised. Your payment plan will be adjusted to reflect the new total order value.
