Online assessments
All eligible applicants will be invited to complete a short online assessment designed to help us get to know you — not just your skills, but how you think and work. At this stage, you’ll also complete a short video interview. This is your opportunity to show us who you are, how you communicate, and what matters to you. Throughout the process, we’ll be looking for key capabilities and behaviours that set our graduates up for success at Kmart Group. Hot tip: We know video interviews can feel a little daunting, but the best approach is to be yourself. Try not to rely on a script – we’re more interested in how you naturally think and communicate, so relax and let your personality come through.
Assessment centre
In this final stage of the process, you’ll be invited to join a group online assessment centre. Here you’ll get to connect with our people, ask questions, and experience what it’s really like to be part of Kmart Group. You’ll take part in a range of interactive activities, designed to give us an idea about how you think, collaborate and communicate. Just as importantly, it’s a chance for you to learn more about the program and get a real feel for what life as a Kmart Group graduate looks like.
Offers Made
Soon after the Assessment Centre, successful candidates will receive an offer to join the Kmart Group Graduate Program and begin their journey with us.
Onboarding and connection
Once you’ve accepted your offer, we’ll keep in touch and support you through onboarding so you feel connected, confident and ready to hit the ground running.
Start date
After you've been onboarded, you're officially part of the program and our team! We'll communicate your start date and will be cheering you on as you begin your career journey with us.
