Buddy Bear - How is Kmart Helping The Alannah and Madeline Foundation
Every year, Kmart partners with The Alannah and Madeline Foundation to help break the cycle of violence in children's lives.
With your support of the Buddy Bear Treat campaign, you can help us make a real difference in children's lives.
Look out for this display instore!
Throughout July and August, you'll see Buddy Bear Treats in all Kmart stores around Australia. Buddy Bear Treats are a soft marshmallow treat covered in delicious Cadbury® Dairy Milk® milk chocolate. From every Buddy Bear Treat sold, 25 cents will be donated to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation's anti-bullying campaign; Better Buddies.
The Better Buddies program reinforces positive values and related social skills of empathy, care, respect and acceptance of differences - all of which have been proven to reduce bullying. The program runs in primary schools nationally and reinforces the message that you can't be a bully if you're a buddy.
So be a buddy, treat yourself (and others) to a Buddy Bear and help raise awareness of bullying issues across Australia. You'll find them in the confectionery department and near the cash registers at all Kmart stores during July and August.
